burger King Menu Prices In UK

Juggling three shopping bags while stabbing at a touchscreen kiosk is no joke, especially with 20 people queuing behind me. I finally got my Double Whopper with Bacon & Cheese ordered, though the bloke behind me wasn’t exactly looking patient.

Upstairs seating was worth grabbing for the brilliant view, but the Wi-Fi completely died on me. Annoying. At least the service was surprisingly quick despite the massive queue, and that heavy smell of flame-grilled beef hit before my order even arrived. The fries were properly hot, too. No complaints there.

Nobody wants a nasty surprise at the till, particularly when a Sausage & Egg Butty costs £4.99 and a Royal Feast for 4 comes in at £39.99. That’s why I’ve checked the Burger King Menu with Prices in UK, so I can see exactly what I’m paying before ordering another ridiculously tempting burger.

Whopper (Editor’s Pick)

£7.99 | Meal £11.99 | From 601 kcal

Burger King Whopper

I still reckon the Whopper is the one to beat. That smoky, flame-grilled beef flavour is what I want from Burger King, and the decent leaf lettuce makes a difference. I get proper lettuce here, not that cheap shredded stuff that falls out after the first bite.

The bun-to-meat ratio is spot on, too. There’s enough mayo and ketchup to keep everything moist without turning the whole thing into a soggy mess. At £7.99, it’s my Editor’s Pick and the best-value way to get that classic BK experience without spending a fortune on a bigger burger meal.

Bacon King (Best for Big Appetites)

Approx. £11–£14

Subtle? Absolutely not. The Bacon King is basically a gigantic double cheeseburger loaded with bacon, and I wouldn’t order it expecting a light lunch. The melted cheese settles beautifully into the bacon, giving every bite that salty, rich flavour I want from a proper heavy-hitter.

I also appreciate the lack of raw onions. There’s no need for them here, and the missing mustard actually works in the burger’s favour. It’s a messy, filling order, but I wouldn’t choose it if I fancied something fresh or easy to eat. For a seriously big appetite, though, this is the one I’d pick.

Rodeo Burger (Best Budget Meal)

A slightly sad-looking burger at first glance. I won’t lie. But I’ve found that the Rodeo Burger punches well above its appearance, particularly for something sitting in the cheaper end of the menu.

The BBQ sauce has a decent smoky sweetness without tasting like the overly sweet sauce used in the BBQ Bacon Whopper. Those onion rings inside give it a nice crunch and extra flavour, although there’s one annoying problem: leave it sitting in the wrapper for too long and they turn soggy pretty quickly. Eat it straight away. It’s a cracking little budget option.

Vegan Royale (Best Vegetarian/Plant-Based Option)

£7.89 | Meal £11.99 | From 557 kcal

I’m much happier recommending the Vegan Royale than the Impossible Whopper. That plant-based patty has a slightly grassy, rubbery taste that really doesn’t do it for me, whereas the Vegan Royale actually delivers something enjoyable.

The crispy coating is the best part. I like how the vegan mayo works with the lettuce, keeping the filling moist without overpowering the crunch. It’s a solid alternative to the standard Chicken Royale, and at £7.89, it’s my first choice on the menu for a meat-free order.

Chicken Sharer Box (Best Family/Group Combo)

£11.99 | From 1045 kcal

Sharing food without starting an argument over the last piece? That’s where this box comes in handy. For £11.99, I get chicken fries, nuggets, chilli cheese bites and onion rings all together, which is a decent spread without committing to a massive sharing feast.

I’d happily split it between two people as a snack, or put it in the middle of the table alongside a couple of basic cheeseburgers. The chilli cheese bites are easily my favourite part. They’re £5.89 on their own, so having them included makes the box particularly appealing. I wouldn’t call it a full meal for two hungry adults, but for a casual sharing order, it’s a winner.

Burger King UK Menu FAQs

What time does Burger King stop serving breakfast in the UK?

Burger King stops serving breakfast at 11:00 AM. I wouldn’t leave it until the last minute, especially if I’m after a Sausage & Egg Butty for £4.99 or those Hash Browns at £3.99. Get there before 11 if breakfast is the whole reason for the trip.

How much does a normal Whopper meal actually cost right now?

A standard Whopper Meal costs £11.99 and starts at 896 kcal. Buying the burger on its own costs £7.99. It’s not exactly cheap fast food, but the Whopper is a hefty burger, and I find it a much more satisfying order than some of the smaller options.

Are prices exactly the same at every UK Burger King?

Absolutely not. The prices in this guide reflect standard high-street branches, but motorway service stations and airports are another story. I’ve seen location-based pricing become a proper pain for anyone watching their spending, and paying over a quid extra for the exact same burger is enough to put me off.

What’s the absolute cheapest thing I can get at Burger King if I’m skint?

The cheapest actual food item is the Chocolate Orange Cheesecake Bar at £3.29, followed by Large Fries at £3.89. Ketchup dips are just 10p, but I wouldn’t count a little pot of sauce as lunch!

Does Burger King do a proper vegan burger in the UK?

The Vegan Royale is my pick at £7.89, with 557 kcal. I find it vastly better than the Plant-Based Whopper, which has that slightly rubbery, grassy taste I don’t enjoy. The Vegan Royale has a properly crispy coating, works brilliantly with the vegan mayo and lettuce, and actually feels like a decent burger.

How much are Burger King chicken nuggets, and what’s the best deal?

Here’s a price difference I genuinely can’t ignore: six Chicken Nuggets cost £6.69, while 20 nuggets from the Made for Sharing menu cost just £8.99. That’s only £2.30 more for 14 extra nuggets! I’d be hard-pressed to justify ordering the six-piece when the bigger box is such a better deal.

Can I get a decent family meal at Burger King without spending a fortune?

I’d look at the Family Feast for 3 at £18.99 or the Royal Feast for 4 at £39.99. Buying four separate meals at roughly £12–£15 each quickly pushes the bill up, so sharing bundles make much more sense when everyone’s hungry.

Do Burger King still sell the Bacon King?

The Bacon King is still on the menu, sitting around the £11–£14 mark as a premium heavy-hitter. It’s absolutely massive, packed with bacon and melted cheese, and thankfully there’s no raw onion getting in the way. I wouldn’t order it for a light lunch!

How many calories are in a Double Whopper with Bacon and Cheese?

The Double Whopper with Bacon and Cheese contains 943 kcal for the burger alone. Order it as a meal and that climbs to 1,435 kcal. It’s a beast of an order, so I wouldn’t pick it when I’m after something light.

Are Burger King’s Chilli Cheese Bites worth £5.89?

A portion of six costs £5.89, and I do enjoy them, but the price feels a little steep for a small snack. My better pick is the £11.99 Chicken Sharer Box, which includes Chilli Cheese Bites alongside chicken fries, nuggets and onion rings. Much more food for the money, particularly if I’m sharing.

Does Burger King UK sell milkshakes, and how much are they?

The Twix Shake costs £5.69 and contains 700 kcal. The standard Strawberry, Vanilla, Chocolate and Salted Caramel shakes are £5.19 each. I usually prefer having a shake alongside a burger rather than adding another side when I’m already spending enough at the till.

Is the Rodeo Burger any good for the price?

I think it’s a cracking little budget option, even though it looks a bit sad when you first unwrap it. The BBQ sauce brings a decent smoky sweetness, while the onion rings add a lovely bit of flavour. One warning, though: don’t leave it sitting in the wrapper while you finish your chips, because those rings turn soggy surprisingly fast. Eat it while it’s hot.

the Bottom line

The prices listed above should give you a pretty accurate idea of what you’ll pay at Burger King, but don’t expect every branch to charge exactly the same. Local franchises set their own prices, so a spot in central London might sting you for an extra quid compared with one up North. I update this price list from time to time to keep it fresh, rather than leaving you stuck with last year’s prices.

And those Must-Try recommendations? Not copied from some corporate press release. I paid for the food, ate it and made my own mind up. Stick with the classics like the Whopper and you’re sorted. Simple as that.

One last thing. Check your local Burger King app before walking up to the till. Takes seconds and saves you getting caught out by a different branch price. I’m absolutely starving after writing all this. Off to buy a Double Whopper.
